Collapsing wirework basket and late afternoon shadows.
Lemons in an English stoneware jelly mould, vintage wicker-covered bottles, a pastry tin and sardine chocolate mould (a French tradition).
Cherry tomatoes in the pan of la balance, an enamel kitchen scale with its complete set of original weights.

Tara, very good photos, beautifull contrasts, in every way. It was great to meet you at the photography workshop and I hope we can keep in touch!
Keep the good work

Your kitchen is like all the inspiring places you've shown us on Paris Parfait. You select the best of the best and know how to display them. Love the second photo with the moulds and wicker bottles.

Oh so lovely! it reminds me of our little place in Paris when I was young and studying at the Bleu, and we scoured the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen for eggs baskets of wire delicately woven with small, painted wooden handles, and chocolate tins to make Easter eggs, egg beaters the size of boat paddles and here and there old covered bottles like yours. What a lovely way of cooking, surrounded by beauty with wonderful ingredients.

I have a pastry tin just like that. Now I wonder where it is.
