Seems it's getting harder and harder to find the truth. We really have to search for it, amidst all the politics, lies, spin and stupidity. Thankfully, even amidst bad news and chaos, beauty remains. Here's hoping truth and beauty prevail on this auspicious day (09/09/09).

The "apostles of the absurd" make me grit my teeth and sigh, but sites like yours, Tara, and TPM among others, as well as the work of people like Jon Stewart keep hope alive. I watched most of President Obama's speech to the schoolchildren on YouTube, as well as a video of the First Lady speaking about the garden she and some school children planted, and I was so very impressed. The "apostles of the absurd," dominated by narrow minds and a narrow vision, are flailing at paper tigers. We have to remember that.

Lately, My head is boggled with the questions of truth , and beyond truth,
to what is REAL??! All seems so distorted. Perhaps this world is simply illusion.

Beauty is far easier to find than truth....but one must pursue both. It is a beautiful day here and I am grateful to be able to recognize it and enjoy the day.
