Giant plastic hexagons, Selfridges, London.
It feels as though I'm in some surreal game of Twister, all tangled up, copying files from a laptop that needs to be shipped to the UK for repair and maintaining another laptop filled with unprocessed photos, as well as a netbook. Plus, I'm figuring out how to use my new Macbook Pro.
As a lifelong PC user, I was concerned about the Mac learning curve, but so far, so good! Luckily, my friends Nic and Leonie are coming from London for the weekend. Nic is a wizard when it comes to computer technical issues; his advice already has proved invaluable in the PC-Mac transition.
Check back later for images and stories from my travels.

Giant plastic hexagons are attractive by their color!!Wonderful blog!!

Soon you won't know how people with PCs get through a day.
AND the MAC signage/layouts are so aesthetically uncluttered & superior, it's sick!
And the smooth, instant, dead-on, precise movement of the mouse...
You won't know how you rode your old mouse. It was like driving a 1950s Cadillac boat of a car.
Right?
Welcome to the MAC family -- we play nice and spread the word.

Good luck juggling all those computer tasks!
Pleeease, double up all your files at least twice.
I lost months of files (thousands of pictures) due to a defective Lacie external hard drive (only months old!).
I have switsched to Mac, working from a MacBook Pro,
sheer joy - if only I would finally figure how the archiving system really works.
I am still flustered and frustrated by the photo albums and recent and whatnot. :-(

Lots of love while you transition! xoxox

Great photo!
Don't have a Mac but I use Safari and have an iPhone. Maybe a Mac for me, next time. Good luck with the transition!

I'm a total Mac convert. Will you give Leonie a big hug for me?

Love my Mac. It's the only computer system that makes any sense to me. The effort will be worth it. Promise.

Remember WYSIWYG what you see is what you get - The Mac Mantra :) Ring Harvey if you are completely baffled, he is an aficionado (had to look up the spelling of that one).

Good luck with the computer transition. I thought about doing it the last time I bought a computer, but didn't. I still wonder if I should do so.

I love it! You went Mac!!!
Now, help me talk Julian into it....!
Best of luck with your computer woes. It is that way over here too, only typical pc issues, and one of my QuickBooks programs quit-the one I use for work.
Off to the flu shot clinic today, must get stuck with a needle. Sigh. :/
xoxo Enjoy your day!!!
