See you here soon.

Your Jordan trip came so quickly! I can hardly wait to see what you will share with us.

I went to a roller derby bout...tough girls, great skating, step-son announcing...lots of fun!

Travel safe!

Friday Night: Holiday shopping party at our favorite junque place, "Our Old Stuff" which hubby calls "Our Old Crap" ~ besides a nice cup of vino & some nibbles, I scored a beautiful set of green vintage wine glasses. Merry Xmas to moi...

Saturday: Catching a favorite folk band at an outdoor festival on the river then walking with our friends to their house nearby where we ate, drank and were merry playing bacci ball all afternoon. (much cheating on one player's part!)

Sunday: Raked my entire backyard to atone for aforementioned merrymaking before heading to an art show on a gorgeous day. Now I think a light bite out, some soup perhaps, to cap of this lovely, lovely weekend.

Tara, loved the menu...tortellini with four cheeses sounds very good! lol
Enjoy your time with Jordana, and photographing up all the windows as you do so well, it is one of my favourite aspects of your blog!! Besides YOU. :)
Can't wait to hear about your trip to Jordan next week, for obvious reasons!
Our weekend is filled with kids, housecleaning and opening our new cigar store! Victory Cigars! I'll post on it.
Love you, hope you are well. xoxox

Redness

Spending Sunday ducking in and out of air conditioned comfort as the mercury rose to 43 degrees celsius is all that's possible in Sydney today ;)

Megan Butel

Well once is lucky, two times a charm! In Sydney it is over 42C today (about 107F) so the weekend is a case study in studiously avoiding the heat - blinds drawn, aircon blasting (carbon offsets are that the washing is drying instantaneously on the line rather than the dryer). Of course my completely crazy family have decided that 40 degree heat is the perfect time for gardening and painting (outside). So I am inside like a troglodyte yelling at them through the window to all to put on hats and sunscreen for heaven's sake!
But I might go for a swim soon (smile)!

My goodness..my life is boring..art class, funeral, football and helping install a garburator lol

MAWB

Enjoy your fabulous weekend..... I just cleaned out the inside of my car and had a headlight replaced.... LOL

i don't think my weekend plans are so unusual, unless of course you consider the unusual characters that frequent coney island...i'm planning a trip there tomorrow morning to shoot. it's been a long time since i've been and i can use the down/alone time before my husband starts traveling a bit for work.

have a great weekend with your daughter, it sounds nice to window shoot.

We're attending a 60 year anniversary party this evening. We're not quite there yet, having celebrated 48 years Thursday!

Marilyn

Just back from the Farmer's Market and now must get ready for an Artisan Fair tomorrow (I have a table). Dinner with special friends tonight. Those are my weekend plans.

Enjoy your time with Jordana and take care and have a wonderful memory trip to Jordan.

Rebecca

Having a farewell dinner party, for my daughter who is moving across the country, in the private dining room of my mother's rehab facility. Whaaaaat?

Then later, much later, bringing her to the airport to catch a red eye flight. Looong, emotional day. Will need most of Sunday to recover, particularly as I'm battling a nasty cold at the moment.

Oooh. Can't wait to see the window shots.

My weekend is one of stealing away time to work. Finishing card designs and choosing images to print for sales and shows. Completing Etsy shop and business paperwork. Pricing plain tickets and making holiday travel plans (house swapping!)

And...my little boy turns 10 on Monday. His number one gift request? A bearded dragon. I'l be visiting pets shops and learning more about heat lamps and reptile care than I ever imagined i would...

Maybe a run or two? Some yoga?

Much love,
Lisa

How fun! I will be uprooting palm trees and see if I can convince my hubby to put in a pond where the hole will be. I like your travel plans better though and wish you a great time!

Oh, I don't get by your wonderful blog often enough these days, Tara. We're picking up our Nora from the airport in StL for her Thanksgiving break today and I can't wait. Must write at least 4K. Also doing the Thanksgiving menu, checking the linens and choosing which china and serving pieces to use. Hardly weird, but the best kind of weekend.

Enjoy your time with your daughter. Can't wait to see your window display photos!

leonie

i do love your window shots and am looking forward to seeing some more of yours here...

this weekend i am doing 2 bikram yoga classes (3 if you count friday as part of the weekend), making lasagne & sweet pumpkin bread, joining the idea store (local library), considering more etsy shop listings, making fragrant fire bundles and mixing a flower essence blend (make from new zealand native flowers) for the daughter of a friend.

there's a brit bloggers collective meetup tomorrow {i concocted us our very own tea blend} and also, somewhere in amongst it all, i am hoping to sit down with nic and watch a movie (in our newly purchased bean-bags).

have a great weekend. happy packing!

I am getting ready for the arrival of family beginning tomorrow as we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving! I am excited as can be to see them all, but not so much about all the dusting that awaits me today. And later today I will accompany my young teenager to see the newest vampire rage--New Moon. Oh, boy... maybe I'd rather dust.
