My daughter Jordana is wearing an antique Palestinian hat, hand-stitched and covered with coins. A similar design is in a museum at the Amman Amphitheatre, Amman, Jordan.
Jordana wearing an old Bedouin silver necklace, Amman, Jordan. Check back later for more images from Jordan.
Similar hats in a local museum.

wow is right...I am just fascinated and amazed at your trip and thank you! for sharing this with us. I wonder if these ancient textiles will find their way into some spectacular Anthropologie designs?

Dear Tara,
These photos of Jordan on all of these 'pages' are amazing.
I too have a penchant for Vanessa Valencia's out of this world creations. (I own one of her collages and a scrumptious cupcake doll.) As the photo of your daughter popped up I felt like I was looking at myself when I was seventeen, except my hair was jet black. It actually startled me when I saw the resemblance. She is very beautiful. I love your blog. I had a dream that two angels were flying with me to Jerusalem after I had 'died' and I told them I wasn't finished with my life here on earth that I had others to bring to Christ. Then I woke up. Please feel free to edit this...it is kind of just for you.
Blessings!
