If you love old letters, documents and books as much as I do, you'll undoubtedly enjoy the Antiquites Brocante Livres et Papiers Anciens beginning Friday, Feb. 5 at Halle Freyssinet. The event at 55, bd. Vincent Auriol continues from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through February 14th.
Be sure and stop by my friend Gunnar Pettersson's Stand No. 418 for an intriguing selection of antiques and collectibles. Take the Metro Line 13 to Chevaleret. Happy hunting!

OMG!!! Exquisite calligraphy! I also love your elegant header. This makes me think of your blotter that I now own. Thank you so much for shipping it; I'm thrilled to own it.

Wow. The Librarian in me is jealous. I've always enjoyed going old documents. In one of my Library Science courses I once got to handle a Benedictine Monk's prayer book from the 1500s. That has got to be one of the coolest things so far in University.
I hope you have a good time. Find something cool to take to Amsterdam.

How did they write freehand so neatly? It is beyond me! What was their secret? Practice, do you think? Amazingly beautiful.
