Monday afternoon, Paris.
"The living moment is everything." - D.H. Lawrence.
When walking down the hallway late this afternoon, I noticed sunlight reflected through slats in the wooden blinds. I was struck by the way light poured onto the pillow on the unmade (!) bed. I ran to grab my camera and got this shot just before the light faded.
It's been a busy day (hence the unmade bed). I've been working on a magazine article, plus photos for another magazine. On my way to the market, I encountered a film crew shooting footage at the hospital around the corner. It's all very hush-hush, with no photos allowed. But I shall keep an eye out for photo opportunities with my pocket camera.
Back soon with some outtakes from photo shoots in Paris. I have friends in town (as per usual in Paris in the springtime) and will be out and about with them, in between assignments. Hope your week is off to a great start!

The unmade bed is perfect in this setting. Gorgeous as always.

I haven't been over to visit you in a while, Tara. But you make it so ultra inviting with the play on light.

Funny, I didn't see this post earlier but today I posted my own 'pictures of light' and then stumbled upon yours! I love the way the new spring light is changing...it mesmerized me and I had to stop, BREATHE and enjoy the light also.

Isn't it wonderful to first notice and then take the picture when the light is just right. Beautiful picture! My week is off to a good start. Working on Marmalady's and sent my first wholesale email newsletter yesterday. Enjoy the sunshine!
