Looks like a glorious day for the event -- Paris in the spring! The fellow with the oxygen mask gives me hope.Wonder if it's a running strategy of if he's like me with asthma stuff!

Very nice photos, David! A wonderful way to capture this event!

Dawn

What an exciting event! I love the photos and admire anyone who can run marathons. I'm not worthy. ;-)

elsie

the topless frenchman says it ALL!!

Natalie

Love racing photos...and the risque Frenchman...at what point do you say to yourself, what was I thinking, I have to run 42 kilometers in this ridiculous getup? however, I love that he chose to do so with conviction.

Marilyn

What a festive occasion! Jim use to run here in Portland and always wanted to do a marathon, but only did a half marathon. The risque picture is funny.

Gillian

These are great! Looks as though you had a beautiful day for a marathon too.
Running with oxygen is a neat idea. Don't all their bodies look devoid of any fat whatsoever? Runners tend to be the leanest of the lean. Obviously I'm no runner! lol
Love ya! xoxox

OK, I feel guilty now. I went out for margaritas and chips and salsa. I should have been at the gym doing cardio...
