To my mom Cherie and to all mothers, who do their best for their children - Happy Mother's Day! But let's spare a thought for all the mothers suffering because their children are missing, held hostage or gone too soon.
Today also marks eight years of marriage for David and me. Reason to celebrate!
My friend Susan of Soozphotoz and her mother-in-law Kate are coming over for dinner. On Saturday, Susan, Kate, two friends from Austria and I went to the brocante at Vanves. We ran into another blogging buddy - and brocante fan - Corey of Tongue in Cheek. An unexpected treat!
Thanks to Susan's sharp eye, I came home with an extraordinary Henri Cartier-Bresson photo! It was taken in the Bois de Boulogne - my neighbourhood - in 1963. I will post more about it soon, along with my own photo of the same spot as it looks today.

Congrats, Tara, on you and David's anniversary. I must admit to being a tad envious when I heard you have a Bresson photo. I am a fan of his work, but especially love Brassai. Can't wait for you post about re: the photos. And, as always, your photos in Paris Parfait always a treasure, Thank you!
