Pristine pelicans in St. James Park, London are protected, unlike those in the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Another oil-free water fowl. The fate of oil-covered birds is questionable.
Twins tearing bits of bread to feed the ducks, while city pigeons hover.
Please consider signing this petition urging BP to give protective respiratory gear to oil clean-up workers in the Gulf states.

So sad about the gulf. We live near La. So~~~it is sad to hear all the bad news.
Love your pic of the twins~~~

I have signed the petition. Good lord, PR is such a secondary concern at this point in this disaster. I would like to smack some of those BP executives up along side the head and then send them out to clean up the oil.....without protective gear, just like they are expecting people to do now. If I start in about the wildlife and birds that are suffering, it will become a full on tirade and I will sit here and cry like a little girl in front of the computer monitor all evening. God Bless those on the front line of this horrid disaster. Thank you, Tara, for urging us to participate in whatever way we can.

I will definitely sign the petition. St. James Park is one of the few places we visited when we were in London several years ago. We were only there a day and a half; so not much time. I would love to go back and explore some more.
