This picture is timeless, it could have been taken 40 years ago, or yesterday. Really wonderful work, Tara, I'm so proud of you!

Marilyn

I visited Doorways Traveler earlier this morning and was touched deeply by her caring and coverage of these beautiful women.

The tile work in this photograph is spectacular. Oh how I would love to see it in person.

PS: Gillian, Vasco da Gama is buried in Lisbon, in the Jeronimos Monastery - a beautiful place to visit.

Tara, your photographs are stunning. I have just returned from a holiday in Spain and posted my photos of Seville and Granada on my new blog -
http://athousandmiles-k.blogspot.com/
I would love you to visit it, even though my photos don't begin to compare with yours (and I am still learning how to post them adequately on blogspot)
Will continue to visit your blog for inspiration!

Did I comment yet?
I think I hit a button that disconnected me.
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Lisa's newly branded blog...I just love it. I found her originally I think through you quite some time ago. Thank you for that too.

Love this photo. Have you seen the tomb of Vasco De Gama? I hear he is buried in and around Seville.

Am so disappointed that I was too busy to come see you in Spain....was hoping for at least a long weekend with you. I suppose next time. Anyways, we'll always have the Middle East! lol And will again, see you in November.

One of the reasons I adore you is that you so selflessly cheer others on....Lisa for one....me for another. Good friends like you are worth their weight in gold.

Love you, xoxo

Chris

Oh, the entrance is truly grand, and that floor does me in. Soon to be in my art journal!!!

(well, not the floor itself. first of all, the shipping would be prohibitive. second of all, the journal with the floor in it would be far too heavy to travel with. and thirdly, i might be breaking a few laws pulling it up bit by bit and glue-sticking it to my pages. No, what I meant was, I'm going to COPY THE PATTERN to my journal pages.)

(you understood from the beginning, didn't you? okay.)

going to see Lisa, now.
