I always wondered what it it REALLY like there at the finish. Now (I think) I know!! Makes the Superbowl look like a big cattle call. If you want behind the scenes look of the Tour from atop a bicycle, visit this site: http://georgethecyclist.blogspot.com/ This guy has followed the tour for years and really has a good handle on how things work out on the road.

Tara (and David!) - Thanks for posting these! You know I watch the coverage like a crazy person! But they never show the crowd and what all the folks "on the ground" are looking at! I love seeing this -- and the post below -- all the flags, color, assorted garb! And those Andy Schleck flags! If I'd been there, I would have been waving one, even though he lost!
