Curved rooftop structure which covers a variety of shops and markets, Covent Garden, London.
For some time now, I've written about and photographed many places and things unrelated to Paris. I've written about my life, which involves lots of travel, writing, photography, poetry, art and activism. The narrow focus on the City of Light in Paris Parfait no longer reflects this blog or its author. So while the blog will keep the same internet address it's had for four-and-a-half years, the front-page banner will bear my own name. In my work, I write and photograph under my own name; it's time I blog under my name, as well. Paris will remain a favourite topic here, but it won't always be the headline. Stay tuned for more changes and developments, with upcoming travels and a move to the Netherlands!
"Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes." - Walt Whitman

It's been a while, so I'm playing catch up here - I stop by and what do I see? A new blog and a move to the Netherlands?! Sheesh, never a dull moment with you, eh Tara.
I'll have to follow along most closely, so I don't miss anything :)
Best of luck with it all!

Oh Tara I am thrilled to hear this as the world needs to know the amazing person behind Paris Parfait as the wonderful Tara. It has been too long since I was last hear. I hope you are better soon. I adore this photo would you be willing to sell a copy of it?
