Biba at House of Fraser, Guildford, England.
Remember Biba? In the early '80s, I was a fan of the distinctive logo and the cosmetics line, with the black eyeshadow used as eyeliner. The new Biba line has the flavour of the '60s. And I'm quite taken with the Biba doctor's bag. What do you think of the new Biba?

oh! It says 'this item is sold out' !
I'll google the biba doctor's bag. I remember biba and like this photo you've shared. must see more.

This brings back memories, especially of the dept store and it's wonderful garden; the bag is gorgeous, but a bit, no a lot on the pricey side. Any more photos?

Wow..have not thought of BIBA in years. Big fan of eye shadow used as liner. Would love to visit that shop.
I LIKE the doctor style bag a lot. That is one of my very favorite styles.
However, hand bag shopping is out of the question. Imagine: six houses, three on each side of the street facing each other...6 professionals unemployed, six families with disrupted lives.
Quite an average for our little block. Two have been out of work over a year and one is about to lose his home. Wonder if any of us will be shopping again any time soon?
Fortunately for me, I only wear black in the winter, white in the summer and denim year round. I am never really in--or out--of style. New Englanders save their stuff forever. Wish I hadn't tossed out my doctor's bag handbag a few years ago-- that is one thing I should have kept!
