Enamelware, porcelain sauceboats and other kitchen collectibles are featured at Blandine Bavoux's Jolie Trouvaille at the Antiquites Brocante at Chatou, France. The event continues from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Sunday. Tickets are available at the gate on Chatou's Ile des Impressionnistes.
I really like these cheery yellow-striped enamel canisters.
Enamel-ware salt containers and advertising thermometers.
Vintage seltzer bottles from various regions of France.

Love, love seeing and remembering. This was my favorite booth at Chatou last year. We actually found a turquoise seltzer bottle at an antique fair in Barcelona. Just such beautiful things, I also can see why you would love the yellow striped canisters, very nice.

OK, you just got me where I live. Love those canisters -- the yellow ones -- too. But really, I'd take any ten or twenty (or thirty!) of those wonderful items. Those are so my style and I love, simply love, the bright colors! Merci!

The past ten days have been less than ideal and your photos have allowed me a few minutes of the day to escape. Thank you, Tara.
