Charles, thank you. I had a candle holder like the one in the picture that I gave away in the move. Wish I had kept it for bulbs, but the idea didn't occur to me, until I saw the Dutch florist's arrangement.

Tara,
the flowers could easily be mistaken for tulips.
I did not want to spoil the fun, but looking at the leaves is what made me recognize the peonies.
Peonies are my favorite flower. ;-)

A wonderful Easter in your new home to you and your loved ones,
Merisi

Lovely! Of course you'd have tulips in Holland! I'm enjoying some of the different shooting you are doing in your new space!

I find so much to envy and emulate in your posts and rarely send a comment saying so, but my reticence was overcome by the photograph of the bulbs in the candle holders. What a brilliant idea! If my effort to recreate the effect turns out well, I will show you. Thank you very much for sharing!

Merisi, you could be right! The florist told me they were a different form of tulip, but it could be that something was lost in translation.

Dear Tara,
I love those flowers in the first pictures, but I am afraid these are peonies, probably tree peonies.
Beautiful spring atmosphere all around, I enjoyed coming along.
Spring greetings,
Merisi

Oh, bliss! You're going to send me careening off into my garden to do some weeding...and utterly neglecting housework, I might add. Beautiful shots, Tara.
