Last month at a celebration at my parents' home for my dad's 80th birthday, my daughter Jordana made cake balls. They were a huge hit! As my late grandmother Lucille used to say, we all have a "sweet tooth."
Jordana used the recipe here, but added more than one bar of confectioner's coating (almond bark).
Try making cake balls yourself, when you need a festive dessert in a hurry. They're delicious!

She's a chip off the block, I tell you! Gorgeous!

It was fun to see Jordana. The kitchen also was very pretty. I have heard of the cake balls and now I am tempted, but another day for today I am making cupcakes.

Amazing! I don't have a sweet tooth, but I'm fairly certain Nic would love them
:)

Yum! What a great idea and they look especially appetizing in that beautiful kitchen. xo

I made them with Devils Food cake mix and cream cheese frosting. Dip them in candy chips from the local candy store. Yummy!

This is the second time in one week that I've read about cake balls. Two weeks ago I'd never heard of them! Your photos of them convince me that I need to try them very soon. Yum, yum.
