Early 20th-century architecture, Utrecht, Holland.
An arch leading to Dom Square featuring the Dom, the city's most famous church.
The ever-present canals, lined with dock-side warehouses and restaurants.
One of the city's numerous historic buildings, now a private residence.
'Tis the season for weddings.
A window display, shot through glass.

Thank you for the fabulous vicarious visit to Utrecht where I have never been.

I adore the pattern on the glass surrounding the front door-- and the handle on the door is a delight as well. Just love your photos. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I couldn't agree more with Mary H. Those first two shots especially, but all made me want to see this town for myself.

Seriously Tara, have you considered a book of your photos? You capture the soul of a city with your lens. It is incredible, really. And one of the reasons I so enjoy your site.
