Sunflowers needed, real or virtual. Today I saw a little Dutch boy struggling to carry a cheery bouquet of sunflowers taller than he was. The determined look on his face gave me hope...

A variation of wording on that proverb was my college class motto! I love sunflowers, but have a difficult time getting them to grow here. The moles eat the roots & the rabbits destroy the leaves. But the few flowers that make it, always manage to charm me.
