Daphne Guinness work is rather dark and prison ~like. I guess an outward expression of an inward state of mind.

Hi Tara,.
Thanks for exposing and posting what is valuable to ponder in our times and culture.

Miss Guiness and her windows are wonderful. But YOU, YOU are more so for sharing with us.
I hope you feel well, happy, and are settling in to your canal side home. My thoughts are with you as always. Let's chat soon, we have to plan my visit. Xo

I think she is a niece or grand daughter of Diana, Dowager Duchess of Devonshire. I recently read Wait for Me by the the Duchess (formerly Diana Mitford). Very interesting to read. The Mitfords all seem to have been beautiful and excellent writers.

Hi, Tara!
I am just checking in because I wrote an email to you and you usually respond right away, so I'm wondering it I still have your correct email ? Let me know if you've changed it recently?

Hope you are happy and well!

I've not heard of Daphne Guinness over here (but then style isn't always my best feature!). (That said, I've been reading a bio of Evelyn Waugh where Diana Mitford Guiness Mosley makes a number of appearances!) This is fascinating, though. The reflections, as Helen indicated, add another element of drama to the photos!

Yes, Sheris, one and the same.

Sheris White

Irish born Daphne Guinness, I assume she is an heiress to the Guinness brewery.

Marilyn

Interesting and I also have not heard of her. Oh what webs some people weave.

Helen

Provocative...to say the least. Your photography adds another layer of mystery to it with reflective images!

Daphne Guinness is unfamiliar to me. Now I need to check her out.

Amazing photos. I love to capture reflections though windows. I did a self portrait series in my blog the other day.
