There is such serenity here. When I think of Kinderdijk, I think of the spot we visited with the energy of early spring. This is so serene, so peaceful. Life is simple -- a postman, a duck -- and life is very good.


Almost feels desolate. Thinking of those living in them I use to want to live in a lighthouse, which I think would have a similar feel of aloneness. I had one picked out in the SF bay. I would love seeing these windmills in person.
