I've never seen the dismantling of a Ferris wheel. So THAT's how they move the whole thing: bit by bit.

fascinating! but still not convinced to ride one!

That first shot is amazing. I love the statue of the woman who looks like she's watching the whole thing in silence. And how bizarre to see it with the Eiffel Tower in view. I guess because I've never seen the Eiffel Tower before in person - period!

what a beautiful photo - like a
large fan - soooooo very pretty!

How fun it would be to ride the wheel and see all of Paris!

You did a great job with these shots! I especially like the first one that shows so much of the ominous sky :-)
Please tell me this wasn't there yet at Thanksgiving because I sure didn't notice it! I did ride it at sunset back in 2000 with Sara and it was great fun! Thanks for the photos...sigh....

What an odd visual.

I like the pics. I find the gunmetal sky appealing in a morose sort of way.

That's sad but I bet it was cool to ride it at night. XXOO

Lovely moody images!

Impressive photos! Love that you captured the Eiffeltower in the background. Also absolutely love the new banner!

Wow- cool pictures! Le Tour Eiffel in the background, lots of gray clouds, a big crane- one wouldn't think that all these elements would look good together but they do!

What fun to see them dismantling the ferris wheel, and with the Eiffel Tower in the background too!
