Statue of the Virgin Mary, Prayer Chapel, Catedral de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain.
"Whatever else be lost among the years, let us keep Christmas still a shining thing: Whatever doubts assail us, or what fears, let us hold close one day, remembering its poignant meaning for the hearts of men. Let us get back our childlike faith again." - Grace Noll Crowell
Easier said than done, right Becca. Thanks for the kind words. Happy Christmas! xoxox

I'd just like to take a moment to say thanks to you. Thanks for taking me to Paris, to Spain, to New York, to San Francisco, to Philadelphia. I loved shopping the brocantes, peeking in all the vitrines, and you kept me well informed during the campaign. I look forward to following your adventures in the year to come.
May all your Christmas dreams come true and I send you best wishes for a wonderful new year.

Amen. When I get frazzled I try and remember the reason for the season. It always brings me back to reality and puts a smile on my face. Merry merry.
(PS we are heading to Riverside after Christmas and I'm taking my wonderful tin R. I'll take photos when I find the perfect spot for it. thank you again my friend.)

OH yes, childlike faith is so important.
Christmas means nothing to me without that. We must be silly, and carefree, and in the moment, and joyous. Thankful. Grateful. Happy.
Let all the stress roll off like water off a duck's back. Happy everything Miss Tara!!! You are so deserving of the absolute best Christmas EVAH!!! Yes, Evah!
xoxo
Love you!!!!!

especially during the election months. You kept me informed and make me think more critically. Merci.

This has long been our habit - to set an empty place at the table, in symbolism for those who have so little. Yes, it's tragic about the homeless problem. Sarkozy has done little to address this issue; Chirac was more sympathetic about the homeless. Hoping for better days in 2009! xoxox

i do so wish this "childlike faith" were ours during Christmas and would last all year long...
thank you for this beautiful remembrance and reminder Tara...
yes, let's hold close and keep our eyes open and let's not turn our back (i've just learnt 300 homeless died of the cold in France and it really makes me ponder of the true meaning of Christmas : adding a plate on your Christmas table for the one who has nothing)
Have a merry Christmas Tara..lots of joy, peace and love to you and your loved ones!
xxxx

ps : merci pour la jolie e.carte !!
