Shaded area in Barrio Santa Cruz, Sevilla.
When it's 39 degrees (that's 102 degrees Fahrenheit), the only way to survive the heat is to stay in the shade. Carrying a bottle of water everywhere you go - along with a senorita fan - is essential. Also necessary: frequent breaks in air-conditioned spaces, especially between the hours of 3 and 6 p.m., when temperatures soar.
Photo shot through the decorative iron-grillwork window of Starbucks, Avenida de la Constitucion. The air-conditioned interior and slushy mango frappuchino here helps make the heat bearable.

Yikes! Warmer than here! But I have to say it all looks so cool, tranquil and yes, not sticky! It's sticky here right now! Hope it's leveling off a bit for you!

Nice to see photographs taken with the Leica - hope to see some more and looking forward to seeing you again (soon?) so you can tell me how you are getting on with it

The private patio looks so inviting. Definitely I would be seeking out the shade and even cool drinks at Starbucks. That sort of heat is so unbearable. Take it easy and I hope it cools alittle for you so you can go out and enjoy the amazing sights. Love seeing your pictures, they make me want to travel. There are a couple short in the states trips soon.
