Sign on shop door, Delft, Holland, loosely translated to "But where is the sun?" That's certainly the question in Paris today, which is dark, rainy and cold.
17th-century buildings and trees reflected in a canal, Delft.
Swans seeking sustenance.
The same canal, a bridge and bikes.
Bikes lined up along another canal in Delft.
No matter the weather in your part of the world, hope your Sunday is lovely!
P.S. If you're a fan of photography and film, you might like The new golden age of documentary. And if you're American - or just interested in the nation's trajectory - this is a sobering read.
Swoon...

As someone who has had his basement flood, that photo with the bridge and bikes terrifies me. just one more foot of water and that room is soaked....

That article is disturbing for sure. And I have become more and more convinced of the stupidity of so many Americans. It is extremely sad!
Love photos, Tara! I think your heart is soon ready to travel to the Netherlands.

Oui, vraiment, ou est le soleil? Here in England we are awash with rain, though somehow this is not preventing bonfire season from going ahead in full swing (drop by and see!). Your Delft canal images are absolutely stunning. My favourite is the swan picture with the small, intense burst of pink.

I love your photo with the swans. I do not know of any place in California that has swans.
