A dilapidated wooden rowboat is grounded.
A "put your trash here" sign has landed in a canal clouded with duckweed.
Silhouettes on a high road outside the town gates.
Puffy clouds reflected in a canal.
Sunlight marks the path.
Feeding the deer in a local park.
Black-headed gulls encircle the church's 15th-century bell tower...
...and swoop around the town.
Amidst puffy cloud cover, a faint rainbow is visible.
Another crossroad outside one of the town's historic gates. Along with the essential dike roads, such routes help prevent flooding during heavy rains or rising waters from the River Lek.
Today, this young man's story really touched me; I hope it means something to you, as well.
Tara,
it is a storybook land!!! Just beautiful every shot... LOve, Vanessa

Wonderful photos (the sign in river is so sadly ironic!). The sky is so blue over the church bell tower and the photo below it - it's heavenly. Which makes me think of that young man...I had resisted watching the videos at first, but I'm glad I did. Yes, touching - even inspiring --I hope the videos bring his family some comfort...Thank you for sharing them, Tara. xo
