Young craftsman at work, Bungamati, Nepal. This teenager's entire family is involved in producing individual, hand-painted statues of Buddha, as well as hand-carved woodwork.

Such an intriguing photograph, Tara. I love how it entreats us to ask what the story behind that look might be, and the contrast between his look and his art...fantastic.
Many thoughts come to mind when seeing this photo, Tara. I think how wonderful it must feel to create art of this caliber. I then think he is young, too young, to be burdened with working to support himself and his family.
