Here in the Netherlands it's a sad day of mourning for victims of flight MH17. Flags are flying at half-mast and various memorial services honour those who perished - including 193 Dutch citizens.
Leave these clogs unworn;
just remember I walked free
and love echoes still.

So grateful for the dignity and respect given by the Dutch to all the victims of this terrible tragedy. Your photograph is so moving.

I cannot understand these types of actions. I wish peace for all who are suffering from this act of terror, especially the families who lost loved ones on MH17.

My heart has been breaking for the people of the Netherlands -- and the word, for that matter -- with this tragic loss. These are beautiful words -- and a beautiful photo to illustrate them.

It's heartbreaking. I watched a little of it on CNN--the arrival of the hearses. Then it panned to the flowers in the shape of the plane, and that's when it was all too sad. I'm so sorry for this awful happening.
